Hello,
I’m facing an issue where my app has been stuck "In Review" for 2 weeks, and I'm not sure how to proceed.
The app was rejected on October 1st under "Guideline 1.1 - Safety - Objectionable Content." I resubmitted a revised version on October 3rd, and the status changed to "In Review" on the same day. The revised version included strengthened content filtering to fully address the issue. Additionally, to further ensure that no inappropriate content is displayed, I implemented Apple's "Sensitive Content Analysis API" as an extra measure.
In the latest submission, I was asked to provide additional information under "Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed" regarding the use of the Sensitive Content Analysis API. I have already provided the required explanation, but it's been 2 weeks without any progress. I also submitted a formal request to the App Review Board a week ago, but have yet to receive any response.
In addition, I have requested an expedited review, but there has been no update so far.
The app worked perfectly fine on iOS 17, but a significant performance degradation occurred on iOS 18. The version I submitted includes critical fixes for this issue. Complaints from users have been increasing, and I am eager to release the update as soon as possible.
Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any advice on how to speed up the process would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I have an application for 4 years, published as private and all this time I was using promo codes so that my users can download/update the application from app store.
However, the last two months the option "Promo Codes" is not showing, in the https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/ menu, so my users can't use the app.
What can I do?
Hello, I have a question about subscription groups in in-app purchases. Suppose I create a subscription group like this:
Subscription Group A
Subscription Item A1 (one month)
Subscription Item A2 (one week)
Subscription Item A3 (one year)
The documentation mentions, "A subscription group is made up of subscriptions with different access levels, prices, and durations so people can select the option that best fits their needs. Since people can only buy one subscription within a group at a time." Does this mean that if a user purchases Subscription Item A1 in Subscription Group A, they can only purchase other subscription items in Subscription Group A after the one-month period ends, when that subscription expires?
Hello,
Our DSA status has been in review for some time now.
Will we be able to submit app updates while the account is in review?
Hi, I uploaded an updated version of my app to App Store Connect yesterday, usually my build would show up under half an hour but this time it hasn't after over 16 hours. It's a simple app. I cleared an earlier version, then there was an email saying Although delivery was successful, you may want to correct the following issues in your next delivery. Once you've corrected the issues, upload a new binary to App Store Connect. ITMS-90899: Macs with Apple silicon support issue - The app isn‘t compatible with the provided minimum macOS version of 13.5. It can run on macOS 14.0 or later. I unchecked the box that says use for Mac option.
I have written to Apple support, yet to hear from them, Meanwhile should I re upload the app with a newer build number and version? Thanks a lot. (I saw quite a few threads on this topic with no one close to any solution so asking again just in case)
Hi,
Since a few weeks, the main App Store Connect shows this message:
Clicking on "Click" redirects to the main page. When I manually go to the "Business" page then all contracts, tax information are marked as "Complete" or "Active".
Is this a bug, or do I miss something?
Regards,
Hi Apple Developer Forum brains trust.
I'd love some ideas on what I should do to overcome an app store rejection of my app related to guideline 1.1.6.
It is a Halloween prank app, where a sound is played automatically when a trick-or-treat visitor comes to the user's home. The sounds can be chosen to be either a Sesame Street style Count counting the visitors ("1 hahaha 2 hahaha etc."), a horror-movie style female scream, or a monster roar/growl.
The app was rejected, then I added some measure to ensure any visitors would be aware of the devices. Every 10 seconds, the torch of the phone would flash so it was clear where the camera was, and a soft noise was made so that visitors knew a speaker was present. However, after I made these changes and resubmitted, the same rejection came back. So, I am missing something.
The app is like many of the existing prank/meme soundboard apps already in the store, but the sounds are not "realistic", e.g. no gunshots or barking dogs or airhorns, and the sounds play automatically when trick-or-treaters approach.
I just don't know where I am potentially deceiving users. Please share any ideas what I should do before my next re-submission.
Here is the full text of the rejection:

Guideline 1.1.6 - Safety - Objectionable Content
The app still includes trick or joke functionality which is intended to or may be used to deceive users.
Please note that adding a disclaimer to the app description is not sufficient if the rest of the metadata and the app could be misleading.
Next Steps
Revise the app so that it may not be used to deceive users.

Trying to upload app through transporter. Keep getting error after numerous attempts and uploading was working earlier today:
The server returned unexpected content. (-19237)
Internal Server Error
After my app was approved for distribution I was filling out the contract information and when I went back to the Apps section my app had disappeared.
Now when I try to log back in I am directed to a “We cannot process your request”.
I tried all browsers and several devices and was able to log back in but the Apps page is still blank.
I have not heard back from Apple Support. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.
thanks

Do you know if the App Store Connect is having any problems. Can't log in.
I submitted an In App Purchase with an existing binary. This binary already includes subscription purchases that are approved/working.
I want to add a Lifetime option so i added an in app purchase but it was rejected with the note:
**3.1.1 - new IAP type
New type: Non-Consumable
Previous type: Auto-renewable subscription
Recommend: Download
The binary of the app is new (more than 14 days).**
has anyone gotten this message or know what i need to fix? I truly have no idea what it means when it says "binary of the app is new"
I get the meesage from Apple review team about my rejected application.
What should I do for this?
Guideline 3.1.2 - Business - Payments - Subscriptions
Issue Description
The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions. Apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions must include all of the following required information in the binary:
Title of auto-renewing subscription, which may be the same as the in-app purchase product name
Length of subscription
Price of subscription, and price per unit if appropriate
Functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA)
The app metadata must also include functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA).
Next Steps
Update the app's binary to include the following required information:
A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA)
A functional link to the privacy policy
Update the app's metadata to include the following required information:
A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA). If you are using the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), include a link to the Terms of Use in the App Description. If you are using a custom EULA, add it in App Store Connect.
A functional link to the privacy policy

I would like to know if an app that uses a Brazilian payment gateway could face some problem to be approved in Apple Store

Hello,
I am developing a new app, that's distributed privately (no public link) to 7 friends on TestFlight.
Yet every day I'm seeing 2 to 4 new users signing up. They're all using Sign-In with Apple (which I support). Because I'm going to localise my app, I store the user's locale - and I see that most of these users have a zh locale.
The back-end database shows to me that these users created an account, and signed-in using a recent build of my app.
Should I be concerned, or is this perhaps some form of Apple testing. I have a different app in production, and I don't see this kind of behaviour there.
Thanks
Hello,
we are trying to use the API provided by appstore connect to automatically upload screenshots for our app.
Please notice that the same script was working up to 1 year ago.
When we try to upload the screenshot, we receive a 400 error.
'<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><Error><Code>400</Code><Message>Invalid request: </Message><RequestId>832feb4a-0187-46a6-8542-4ab0b58c196a</RequestId></Error>'
Can someone from the support help us?
Kind regards,
Andrea
In my app, I have more than 600 items. I'm adding them via the API
Do I need to add the screenshot manually?
it doesn't make any sense. is there a way to handle this?
Dear all,
i am a music conductor and developer, and to fulfill my joy with music i recently developed a WatchFace and some apps for a non-apple watch called "PineTime".
My whole development is done in c++ and is available at
https://github.com/luto65/PineConductor/
Since I am aswell an apple developer, and most of my friends have apple watches, i am now porting those c++ apps to the apple watch.
I just finished the very first one, that is actually a watch Face
I now ported it to appleWatch and it looks pretty similar too (here a screenshot from the simulator)
I would like to now remove the annoying digital hour on the top right corner, and then sell it as new custom face, together with my other swift-ports of my original c++ applications.
Looking forward any feedback.
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to hide the provider details in the "information" section of my app page on the App Store?
I've noticed that other apps only show the provider's name, while mine displays all the information, such as provider, DUNS number, address, phone number, and email. I would like to show only the provider's name and email.
Can anyone help me with this? I haven't found a solution so far.
Thanks!
Hello,
I currently have 3 Apple Developer accounts and was wondering if there is a way to merge them into a single account. I want to simplify management and have all apps and services under one account.
Has anyone had experience with this? Is there an official process for merging multiple developer accounts, or perhaps an alternative solution to manage everything more efficiently? Any guidance or advice would be appreciated!
Thank you all
