I created an app for fine art for iOS and for the screenshots, I originally had art by actual artist so it was denied by Apple: under the guideline 2.5.10 – performance – software requirements.
"To resolve this issue, please revise your app to complete remove or fully configure any partially implemented features. Please ensure your screenshots do not include any images of demo, test, or any incomplete content. To resolve this issue, please revise your app to complete, remove, or fully configure any partially implemented features. This is what Apple reviewer said, so I removed the screenshots of the actual artwork and replace them with the app's logo and I am still getting denied. I don’t know what to do, complete removal of any images would hinder showing off the app features. I asked them to clarify and they repeated the statement above.

My first review for my application has been rejected stating Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed- We were unable to sign in with the following demo account credentials you provided in App Store Connect.
However, we were able to actively sign in and navigate through the entire application without any issues. How can I find out what is the exact problem the review team is facing and how do I fix it to ensure a smooth release?
I got this message when my subscriptions were rejected:
We have begun the review of your in-app purchases but aren't able to continue because your submitted in-app purchases indicate a change of business model for your app.
Therefore, we need to verify the implementation of your submitted in-app purchases in the app to ensure your app, and its in-app purchases, are in compliance with the App Review Guidelines.
I already submitted the new build with the revised pricing(new business model). But they dont seem to review the new build.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi there,

This has been going on for the last 1 week. I am still not sure how to fix this issue and get my app approved.
I dont see an option to include subscriptions/IAP when submitting the app for review. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best,
Guna
The guidance provided only explains how to remove the entire app from review, but not how to remove a single subscription. Currently, I have one incorrect subscription that has been rejected due to localisation issues, and it is stuck in the "In Review" status. Unfortunately, I am unable to make changes to it.
The correct subscription is in the "Waiting for Review" status, and while I am able to remove it, there is no need to do so. What I would like to do is remove the previous, incorrect subscription.
Does your app store/platform support AI apps
is there any difference in the submission to review process for AI apps vs non AI apps
Can you share any documentation supporting the above
Thank you App review team for accepting one my games . Now i have only an game left with 4.3.0 Design-Spam rejection . Im still trying in every possible way to be accepted but still dont understand where the problem stands becouse my game is unique and not duplicated . I recreated the design but still got rejected . In waiting of a successful review now , becouse all this time i have been angry of having many rejections . For others that also are having the 4.3.0 Design-Spam rejection . What i did is that i added new functionality , and later i mentioned it in app review message
What are the major differences in review process for AI based apps vis a vis normal apps for Apple store?
Hey,
I submitted my game for review several times over the last two weeks, and I keep getting rejeted under the 4.1 Design Copycat guidelines.
Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats
This app or its metadata appears to be misrepresenting itself as another popular app or game already available on the App Store, from a developer's website or distribution source, or from a third-party platform.
Apps should be unique and should not attempt to deceive users into thinking they are downloading something they are not.
I have tried contacting and writing to the support team several times but I get absolutely no response. The game is completely built from scratch and I own all rights to it which is clearly mentioned as well.
There hasn't been a single thing that I have used in the game that is not owned by me and the game in general is completely original and novel with its design, and not trying to compete or derive its design from any other game in the app store.
All I just is more clarity and information or someone to respond and help me out with this, since I am a sole developer and I intend to release this game very soon.
Thanks, and please help!
Is it legal to use incoming call UI for displaying a scheduled fake call? Does it conform to App Review policies?
The approach also means there's no VoIP service integration for the app one's going to distribute
After I received this email, my account was suspended and the app was taken down from the store. I've reached out to Apple but haven't heard back, so I'm wondering if anyone here has resolved these issues. It's a company app so it's urgent. Please help.
In accordance with DPLA 3.2(f), you have agreed that you "will not engage in any act of interfering with Apple Software or Services, the intent of this Agreement, or Apple's business practices." This includes, but is not limited to, the App Store, custom app deployment, TestFlight, Xcode Cloud, Ad Hoc deployment, or taking actions that may interfere with the performance or intended use of the program. Apple has every reason to believe that you have violated this provision due to written indications of fraud related to your account.
As previously advised, App Store Review Guidelines 5.6.4 (App Quality) states, "[Customers expect the best quality in the App Store, and maintaining high-quality content, service, and experience increases customer confidence. Signs that this expectation is not being met include excessive customer reporting and excessive refund requests for concerns about apps such as negative customer reviews. The inability to maintain high quality can be a factor in determining whether developers comply with the developer code of conduct," it states.
You have not done enough to tailor your Apple Developer Program account to the Developer Code of Product. Therefore, Apple is exercising its right to terminate your status as an Apple developer under the DPLA.
As an Apple developer, I would like to remind you of your obligations under DPLA regarding all software and other confidential information obtained from Apple. You must immediately cease and desist from any use of these materials and comply with all other termination obligations set forth in Section 11.3 of DPLA and Section 10 of ADA.
If applicable, no additional payment will be made in accordance with Section 7.1 of the Paid Application Agreement (DPLA Schedule 2 and 3).

Should I just create a new developer account and release the app anew rather than wait for a promising answer?
Here is the message, that I received:
The seller and company names associated with your app do not reflect the name "Paycall" in the app or its metadata, as required by Guideline 5.2.1 of the App Review Guidelines.
To resolve this issue, your app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the Paycall name. If you have developed this app on behalf of a client, you may resubmit the app through their account, if they have one. You may also request an update to the company name on your account by having the Account Holder contact Apple Developer Support to request an update to the company name.
I already send a request to change a name of dev. account, but there is no reply for solid 4 days. We have a startup here, made on behalf of me and my friend, the launch of that being stopped by this situation. If you have same problem or know how to solve it, please let me know, thanks.
In App Store Connect, I noticed my app has an unlisted link under the availability settings, but its review status is currently marked as rejected. Should I submit the app for review again? Any advice on the steps to take next?"
We submitted a non-renewing subscription with a new version for first time review.
After submitting the version the status changed to "Waiting for review" and the "In-App purchase" section disappeared.
Though we had a lot of trouble with the review process I wonder if this is "normal" or if something went wrong.
My question: Is it normal that the in-App purchase section is not visible while a Version is waiting for review?
App is approved and on App Store but Subscription is in review and localizations rejected. no way to edit.
anyone here that go this flow resolved and how?
Hello again , i'm Enrik Sulaj .How can i find how to solve the problem ? Its almost impossible to solve by just guessing it . The app review need to be specific too .They just say "we cant provide" , how can i find the problem by myself if they created it and cant give me specified proof that i violated 4.3.0 Design-Spam ? If i did something it need facts to be proven . If there are no facts , there is not a problem . If there is a problem , with full details which object is duplicated it will be fixed soon . But there is not facts , not proofs , not a single detail , just random things . My 2 games are taking longer time waiting to be published , but apple review team reject games with not an single detail how to fix . The just keep rejecting without showing facts , real reasons and without giving helpful support .I disagree with their decision .
Rejected apps from appreview is it always require to resubmit again? Or just we can edit the build and put the new build and save and reply in the app review
Dear Apple Supervisors, im Enrik Sulaj an apps and games developer .I have many Why-s ! Why app review team have a stone heart? Why they dont value our work? Why they are not helpful?
Why they cant tell us where the problem is ? Why they dont do their work right? Why "They dont share information "even that information can solve the problem. Why they create the problem just to reject our games? I sent an appeal for that, still waiting for it but they always had respond with not a solution to me and not in an helpful form! Why they hate new creators? And the last why, why they make the impossible to undervalue creators hardwork and made us never work with Apple Again. I never saw an car game that collect gold and rubin, gives all free assets or crushes into a wall, but they have always their answer and dont listen to the facts, the most common answer
"Duplicated but with anonymous and not shareable proof "Apple supervisors, fix my problem, im an Apple unhappy user of Developer services ! Not about Apple policies, but even my new idea can get rejected. That will hurt so many new creators. Its just not right, to take money and to refuse to give service. If i buy your product you need to give me the service. At least the support, helpful support, not like (We cant share information, becouse if you analise it well that translates in " we cant help " or "we dont have any proof just want to make your road longer ".Fix this asap, apple review team need to support us, not just to say things we already know. My app is duplicated ? How is that possible didnt copy anybody, if they continue like this even if i have the problem i will never solve this becouse i dont know what to do, this situation is making me angry becouse think of it as in the same position, if you get refused for not a real reason. I will never give up, i will get my right, and i hope the other creators facing the same problem fix this also ! Do not use bots to do the work auto and faster, instead use your eyes, they never lie . Do not save time, instead do the work longer and ri to say a little thing, anything will be in the right place at the right time .
Hi Experts,
Recently we've faced an issue when submitting the new build to AppstoreConnect for review/approval.
"Guideline 3.1.1 - Business - Payments - In-App Purchase
We found in our review that your app or its metadata provides access to mechanisms other than in-app purchase for purchases or subscriptions to be used in the app, which does not comply with the App Review Guidelines. Specifically:
Your app's description includes the following call-to-action and/or URL that directs users to external mechanisms for purchases or subscriptions to be used in the app: Website: http://abc.io
Next Steps
To resolve this issue, please remove features, account registration links, and any other links to your site that could indirectly provide access to external purchase mechanisms.
If you have any additional information to provide regarding the digital content and services in your app and how the guidelines apply to them, please reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know. If there is information you'd like us to consider in our review of future submissions, please feel free to include it in the App Review Information section of App Store Connect."
Without any detail screenshoot or detailed clue to resolve it. I asked the Apple reviewer but hasn't got a clear respond yet.
We've tried to modify in-app meta data, even change the app's description to not link to any website that have account registration or external purchases but still getting rejection by Applestore.
I'm wondering if anyone used to face this issue and resolved , can you please advise us on how to resolve it quickly.
Thanks,
Vinh
Hi,
Our business has recently been dealing with getting our app rejected for 4.3 Design Spam.
I've sent an appeal and sent a follow up as we weren't hearing back.
For context, we've been getting this as our rejection w.o any specific reasons for us to address.
We've been in the app store over 3 years and have been compliant throughout and to suddenly get this while trying to push new content, fixes, and updates to our new users has put a hindrance to our business.
All our code and designs were build in house (and or used from open source sdks) and we have mechanics that are unique to our app.
We want to continue to be compliant, but to just be left in the dark isn't exactly productive of both of our times.
Thank You
