Hi, how are you? I need to remove my developer devices from my account because in Xcode when i want to test my application i get this message: Your development team has reached the maximum number of registered iPhone devices.

So my phone doesn't have the app store so whenever I need an app my dad has to into screen time settings and unlock it so he can add one. But when he went into content and privacy restrictions and tries to turn it on the little green button doesn't turn and keeps glitching. Because of this I can get no new apps and he can't change any of the content and privacy settings at all. I also cannot find a way to downgrade so it would be really nice if there was a solution to this.

Everything else works, no vpn on, I’ve tried signing out and back in, restarting the phone etc. I also can’t get into only my mail on a browser on pc, even though every other iCloud service works. maybe this has something to do with it? I’ve already contacted Apple, and they think it’s the beta causing the issue because I have advanced data protection turned on as well. That’s how they explain that I also can’t get into my iCloud mail on a pc browser, which could be true. Issue is, I can’t turn off advanced data protection either really in a pickle here. They told me post here, or do a device recovery back to stable. But even a recovery back to stable won’t be great because they’re not sure if a lot of the backed up data on iCloud is going to work with the old stable. any ideas?

After updating my iPhone to iOS 18 beta 4, I noticed that l loss mobile network connectivity after each regular interval. This is very boring me because can't do anything with my cellular.

I recently installed the first beta on my 14 pro max and whenever i scroll on Instagram, for example, only the reel page has sound. Stories with music, or normal posts (not reels) with sound play 0 sound. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is there a solution or do I have to wait for updates?

I apologize for the interruption; I am not a developer, but a user of a MacBook who has encountered a frustrating issue when launching applications via Xquartz on my 2024 MacBook Air. After reaching out to Apple Support without success, I am seeking assistance here. I am an academic researcher in structural biology. Recently, I upgraded from a 2017 MacBook Pro to a 2024 MacBook Air. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to properly launch application GUIs from our HPC using SSH and the module load command, a process that worked seamlessly on my 2017 MacBook Pro. While Xquartz launches and runs in the background automatically on the 2024 MacBook Air, just as it did on the 2017 MacBook Pro, the application GUIs I need do not display correctly. Specifically, PyMOL opens with a blank interface, preventing me from viewing structures, and Chimera shows an error message before quitting automatically. I have attached the error logs for your reference. The most significant difference between the 2017 MacBook Pro and the 2024 MacBook Air is the transition from an Intel to an M3 chip. I am stuck with some of my downloaded books not syncing correctly. A book that imported correctly to my library on Mac (7h of audio), only syncs to my iPhone as 4min audio. And I just can't find a way to make it work... All the sync is switched on in iCloud, but I sync them via cable anyway. Books downloaded as singular file seem to work, but books downloaded as chapters are not syncing correctly. My suspicion is either: Books that are downloaded as individual chapters only carry over the first chapter to the iPhone (why?!) iPhone runs on iOS18 Beta, while the Mac is still on Sonoma 14.5, which may be causing the issue (?) or something else entirely, that I am unaware of... Anyway, any input, helpful articles or advice how to sort this out would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I posted my question in the regular Apple forum and it was automatically removed cause it mentioned beta software with a note saying to ask on here, apologies if this isn't the most on-topic. I updated to the iOS 18 beta and made the mistake of not making a backup before. I wanted to downgrade back to iOS 17, so I did a backup with iOS 18 (to my Mac), restored the phone to factory settings, and realized that my iOS 18 backup isn't compatible with iOS 17. I updated back to iOS 18, and I was wondering if I could restore my iOS 18 backup to my iPhone. From what I can tell, the restoration process removed the iOS 18 beta when I unenrolled from the beta. If I'm still enrolled in the beta and I restore to factory settings, will it keep the iOS 18 beta? If not, can I restore the backup when iOS 18 is officially released in September? Thanks

Running iOS 18 beta on iPad 9th Gen. I have two email accounts set up in Mail - an iCloud account which is the default account in 'Settings>Apps>Mail>Default Account'. I also have a Gmail account - which gets most of my mailing list, digests and general 'junk' etc. I use the Mail app & the 'All inboxes' view to read my emails on my iPad. I want to send all new messages from my iCloud account but, despite it being the default, this does not happen. Whenever I start a new message, the sending account selected depends on the highlighted message in the left column. So, when I start a new email to my wife, if I happen to have a mailing list message selected from my Gmail account, the email gets sent from my Gmail address. Unfortunately I have more mail sent to my Gmail account than my iCloud so it is more likely that the non-default account is chosen. On macOS, the default sending address is honoured whatever email is selected. This is inconsistent behaviour between the two systems.

How to report a bug says "With Feedback Assistant available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the web, it’s easy to report issues you encounter". The Feedback Assistant User Guide says "Tell Apple about your experience with beta or seed releases". Is Feedback Assistant only intended for reporting bugs in beta software? A year ago I reported a bug in Xcode 14 and now I'm being asked to verify this issue with Xcode 16 Beta 3. I'm not a beta tester and I don't want to install beta software. How should I proceed?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if I downgrade my iPhone to iOS 18 developer beta 1 from developer beta 4 (rereleased) version, what will happen to my Apple Watch Series 6 running watchOS 11 beta 4? I seen people say that their Apple Watches unpaired and they could not pair them again when the iPhone is downgraded from 18 beta to 17.5.1. Though it is within the same iOS version in question, will I still need to get my Apple Watch downgraded as well if I use an IPSW containing the 1st developer beta of iOS 18?

Hi Apple Developer Program Support, I’m experiencing a problem with one of our Apple Developer account renewals, which has caused us to lose access to my Apple Developer Program account. The payment for the account renewal was made last Saturday (July 20, 2024), and I received a confirmation email stating that the membership was renewed the same day. However, yesterday (July 28, 2024) I received an email saying that Apple is "Unable to complete Apple Developer Program renewal" . Since then, I lost access to my Apple Developer account. I have submitted a support case to developers.apple.com, but I haven’t received any reply yet. There is no phone support that I can contact and there is no way to try and re-enroll. I would appreciate if anyone knows what can we do or of another way to contact Apple regarding this, Thank you,

I am developing an app and having trouble implementing NFC HCE functionality on iOS. From what I found, NFC HCE seems possible in the EEA, but I need help doing it in other countries. Is there any way to achieve this through a specific license or certification from Apple? Any guidance or references would be greatly appreciated.
