Après installation de l'application "Local" on me demande de mettre à jour mon Mac à la version 12.0. et c'est là le problème car je ne sais pas comment. Merci
I am having difficulty figuring out two indicators for a custom piece of battery hardware.
Firstly, on the home screen, scrolling all the way to the left in the widget screen, you can see the battery for connected wireless devices, electronic pencils, etc.
Additionally, when you use Apple battery packs, you can see the battery for it on the top right of your phone
I am wondering where I should look to see how I could integrate both of these. I have searched the documentation for a while, and I am having a hard time knowing where to start. If anyone can point me to something, it would be very appreciated. Thank you!
I recently bought a new iPhone SE and transferred all of my data. I want to keep the old iPhone and have removed most of the Apps. However when I charge it fully at night, the battery is almost dead the following morning. This was not the case before I bought the new phone. When I check the battery app, it doesn't indicate any use that would explain why the battery is almost exhausted.
I am working on an app for a Home automation device built on Matter. There are both standard and custom features/services/clusters on this device. HomeKit seems to pick up the standard ones except for one (leak detector) that is part of the Matter 1.3 spec. Of course HomeKit doesn't know what to do with the custom ones so they aren't shown in the Home app. I am trying to access those directly via calls to the Matter APIs so I can present them in a custom app. To access Matter APIs I am using a process suggested by DTS in a forum post that can be found here.
The MTRBaseDevice I obtain in the suggested way responds appropriately to read and write commands, but subscribe doesn't work as expected. It returns an error code 48 which is described as "The operation couldn’t be completed." and the source that contains the error calls it "operationNotSupported". This is the subscribe call referenced in the DTS response to earlier post, however there are three more "subscribe" methods and I have tried them all. Two also return an error 48, and the last one never calls any of the callback handlers providing no data or errors.
Since a subscription is supposed to return data periodically even when there have been no changes it doesn't seem that different than polling so I have written code for that and it works. However I don't expect iOS will let me poll in the background for alarm conditions and I am hoping subscription updates will be sent to a background app so it can notify users of these conditions. Is that a reasonable assumption?
Here is the code I am using to test subscribe, perhaps I am doing something wrong? Originally I had shorter intervals but changing them made no difference. Do they need to be longer?
let subscribeParams = MTRSubscribeParams(minInterval: 15, maxInterval: 900)
if #available(iOS 17.6, *) {
subscribeParams.shouldAssumeUnknownAttributesReportable = true
}
subscribeParams.shouldFilterByFabric = false
subscribeParams.shouldReplaceExistingSubscriptions = true
subscribeParams.shouldReportEventsUrgently = true
subscribeParams.shouldResubscribeAutomatically = false
print("Attempting subscribe:with")
let localClusterStateCache = MTRClusterStateCacheContainer()
matterBaseDevice.subscribe(with: OS_dispatch_queue_global.global(), params: subscribeParams, clusterStateCacheContainer: localClusterStateCache) { (attributes: [Any]) in
print("subscribe:with attributeHandler: \(attributes)")
} eventReportHandler: { (events: [Any]) in
print("subscribe:with eventHandler: \(events)")
} errorHandler: { (error: any Error) in
let reportingError = error as NSError
if reportingError.domain == "HMErrorDomain" {
let hkError = HMError(HMError.Code(rawValue: reportingError.code)!)
print("subscribe:with errorHandler: \(hkError.localizedDescription); UserInfo: \(hkError.userInfo); ErrorUserInfo: \(hkError.errorUserInfo)")
} else {
print("subscribe:with errorHandler: \(reportingError)")
}
} subscriptionEstablished: {
print("subscribe:with Subscription established!!!")
} resubscriptionScheduled: { (error: any Error, numericParam: NSNumber) in
print("subscribe:with Resubscription scheduled; error: \(error); numericParam: \(numericParam)")
}

Hello,
We are currently using Hub which uses CYPD3125 PD chip, It is used to connect with both Android and iOS devices. While our device works seamlessly with Android devices, we are encountering an issue when connecting to iOS devices, specifically the iPad Pro.
Issue Description:
The Powerpack/Hub is intended to handle Power Delivery (PD) communications. When connected to an Android device, the PD packets are exchanged correctly, and the device functions as expected. However, when connected to an iPad Pro, we observe abnormal PD packet exchanges which lead to malfunctioning of the Powerpack/Hub. Observations:
Attached is a snapshot of the PD packets we captured while troubleshooting the issue in a scenario where the AC power adapter was initially connected. After a few seconds, we removed the plug, waited for a few seconds, and then plugged in the AC power again. This was the scenario when we captured the PD packets, as seen in the snapshot. The packets appear to be different when compared to those captured with an Android device.
Below is the screenshot of the PD packet capture with Apple device:
Below is the screenshot of the PD packet capture with Android device:
Technical Observations:
Initial Connection: The connection initiates but does not follow the expected PD communication sequence. Packet Structure: In the capture, the iPad Pro shows a series of PD Msg types including Src Cap, Req, and Accept, but there are also unexpected messages such as Hard Reset and Soft Reset that disrupt the communication. Timing Issues: The timestamps show irregular intervals between packets when connected to the iPad Pro, suggesting possible timing synchronization issues. Unexpected Resets: The capture shows a Hard Reset event at packet 9, which is not observed in the Android device captures. This suggests the iPad Pro might be detecting an error and attempting to reset the connection. Steps Taken:
Verified the firmware and hardware implementation of the Powerpack/Hub. Ensured compliance with USB PD standards. Tested with multiple iPad Pro units to rule out device-specific issues. Additional Details: We have also tested with iPad Air and observed the same issue. The tests were conducted on both iOS version 16 and 17. We are attaching a USB PD capture with an Android device where it is working fine as expected. The PD packets were captured in a scenario where the AC power adapter was initially connected. After a few seconds, we removed the plug, waited for a few seconds, and then plugged in the AC power again. This was the scenario when we captured the PD packets, as seen in the snapshot.
Despite these steps, the issue persists. We seek guidance on any issues or peculiarities with iOS devices and USB PD communication.
Thanks
The back camera of my new iphone 16 pro max keeps crashing almost every shot so bascially I cannot take any picture on this phone! such a huge failure on Apple!
You need to restore photo albums like it was before upgrade to 18 IOS
I am attempting to create a product and application that utilizes the Face-ID sensor for something outside of Face-ID itself. It is possible to re-use this sensor for something outside of Face-ID?
I keep seeing this in the Xcode when I launch my app:
-[NFCTagReaderSession beginSessionWithConfig:]:468 error:Error Domain=NFCError Code=203 "System resource unavailable" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=System resource unavailable}, errorCode: 0xcb
Initially, the device was working with NFC. Now on multiple complete restarts of my app, the System resource is still not available. If I lock the screen and reenter iOS again, the problem persists.
Rebooting the device appears to get it working again. I suspect this is only happening on iPhone 15 and iOS 18.01. My other devices I have do not exhibit the problem. I'd wager some service in the OS has crashed?
There also appears to be limitation on renewing nfc sessions. Similar problems on iPhone 16 to what I experienced on iPhone 15. I don't know what they did with iPhone 15 and 16 but the NFC has really deteriorated for longer sessions. Seems the newer Apple HW is worse at NFC than my iPhone 11. Just providing feedback.
The device also has 100% charge. Issues seem more prevalent with lower battery charge but that is not the case here.
Hi,
The company produces MFI-certified devices.
A lot of users are affected. it happens when users are in the background.
The crash happens in NSArray; it looks like the array is out of bounds to which EAAccessoryManager tries to access.
The only assumption I have is that something is wrong with Threads. Maybe we are blocking a Thread somewhere, or EAAccessory should always work on the Main Thread but we switch streams to another thread.
It is hard to believe that Apple could have such a simple bug. If it were Apple's bug, other companies who produce MFI devices could also experience the identical bug, but I don't see anyone raising the identical issue.
The issues don't have a relation to iOS versions; it happens for us from iOS 13 till iOS 18.
Thanks in advance,
Eugene.
Hello!
I'm facing the following Appstore issue.
There was an watchOS only app, without a companion app. In current 1.6 version the app has a companion app and it can be properly installed by new users from their iPhones or watches. Unfortunately, all old users, who have installed the app from their watches don't see a way to install the app from the Appstore (they can download the latest watchOS version though). Many things have been tried - uninstalling, installing on the watch. Looking for a purchase, removing subscription, but without luck.
The Appstore shows "purchased" button instead "Get" or the cloud icon.
Is this a bug in the Appstore or there is a way to recover from this edge case.
Thanks,
Emil
There are CarPlay resources from Apple (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/carplay/) but it seems entirely geared towards iOS app development.
Are there any resources or documentation that help with CarPlay integration on the vehicle/head unit side of things? I believe you need to download the CarPlay Communication Plug-In and integrate that with the head unit platform and applications, but there isn't much documentation that comes along with the Plug-In .zip download.
Is there a different place where resources for head unit developers is located?
I have the our device connected , with Assistive Touch enabled and the application running in the foreground. At this point, I place the screen on standby and leave the device unattended for 10 minutes. After this period, I return, unlock the screen, and observe that our app is still running, and the connection with the device is re-initiated. However, something occurs at this stage that causes the application to briefly switch to the background and then immediately return to the foreground.
This behavior leads to system instability. Ideally, once the application is running in the foreground, it should not transition to the background automatically. However, it seems to be doing so for a short duration—momentarily switching from the foreground to the background, then back to the foreground—which is causing the observed instability.
OK, the iPad screen is unlocked AND App Appears.

this is happening under iPadOS18.1 beta5 and iPad12.9" 6th gen.
Would you mind taking a look at this issue ?
I am experiencing an issue with NFC scanning on my iPhone 11 after updating to iOS 18. Previously, I was able to use NFC tags without any problems. However, since the update, the NFC functionality no longer works as expected.
Installed OS: iOS 18.0 (22A3354)
Here are the troubleshooting steps I have already tried:
Opened the Shortcuts app.
Tapped on Automation.
Searched for NFC.
Selected Run after confirmation.
Tapped NFC Tag -> Scan.
Unfortunately, nothing happens at this point; the NFC scan doesn't initiate.
This issue has made it difficult for me to use NFC-dependent automations and functionalities that worked seamlessly before the update. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this problem?
Thank you for your attention and support.
Hi l've updated to ios 18.1 beta and l'm experiencing my iPhone 14 Pro restart and having issues using Safari when on my home WiFi but I'm the only person in my household with this issue
My iPhone now keeps resetting itself roughly every 15 minutes.
What is the maximum power-per-hour can an iPhone provide for an accessory connected to the iPhone to its Lightning port?
Previously working! Now Broken. I developed a test application to establish a connection with a BLE peripheral. The application successfully connected to the peripheral, but it did not establish SMP Pairing procedure.
Previously, I was able to successfully pair with the devices during the Beta phase. However, currently, I am not receiving the OS prompt to grant Bluetooth permissions. I understand that this may be a newly introduced feature in the recent releases.
Could you please provide guidance on whether there is a specific flag that needs to be enabled or added elsewhere, or if this is a bug with the ASK?
PLEASE HELP!!!
