iPhone 15 Pro Max just downloaded iOS 18 developer beta and was messing with the new features when I went to edit my today view screen on my Home Screen and my news widget stayed in a constant state of being edited where it doesn’t shake like the other widgets or apps when editing. But it has the close button and the size tab like the new control center tools when editing them. I can still edit my today view screen but the old news widget won’t go away and even seems to be updating with new stories. The today view on my Lock Screen doesn’t have the old widget at all and also can be edited from the unlocked screen. sorry if I’m in the wrong topic, I posted on the general forum but seems to been taken down as I am running the new iOS; And I am new to developer tools.

Hi All, Looking for some help. I have an app that uses Charts and SwiftData. I have created @Query that filters the records and charts displays Ints in a line graph by the date. Easy. Hello. I can't take a call because it immediately shows busy when I'm not on the phone.

After upgrading to iOS18 dev beta 1/2 , camera keeps opening automatically by itself. Consuming more battery.

So I left the phone on the counter overnight at around 50% and I didn't plug it in. The next day, the phone was dead and completely unresponsive to anything. I've already had this issue once, but without beta, and I managed to solve it by a hard reset. This time, however, the phone is completely bricked; I can't enter recovery mode, DFU mode, reset, charge, nothing. I suspect something broke when the phone was trying to update to the next beta overnight. I don't really know what to do. I want to get the phone working and off the beta, but I can't because nothing works right now.

As of now, there are some emulators available for the Apple Silicon Mac, such as Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion. These emulators support virtualization on Apple Silicon and offer some support for ARM architecture. However, not all mobile applications or games have been adapted for Apple Silicon yet, so are there any emulators designed for moblie games fully adapted to Apple Silicon?

So, I’ve been using iOS 18 beta for some time, it worked perfectly and flawlessly. I downloaded and installed iOS 18 beta 2, and it has made my iPhone not so much usable, it’s really laggy, buggy, slow, makes my phone hot. Is there a way to roll back to iOS 18 beta 1? I’ve made a backup of my iPhone on my iMac before installing beta 2. I would have posted this on the normal apple community, but my post was taken down because it contained stuff related to beta software.

Moving from iOS 17.3 to Dev 18b2 with a SIM that currently has a SIM PIN causes an iPhone 15 Pro Max to not be able to get any cell network access, nor an option to disable or enter the PIN. All you can see is the Mobile Service section asking you to arrange cell service. Luckily I have a cellular iPad that I could remove the PIN from, so that I could proceed, but this is quite the oversight!

And the only thing left to resolve on App Review, is this: **Guideline 3.1.2 - Business - Payments - Subscriptions Your app uses auto-renewable subscriptions, but it does not clearly describe what the user will receive for the price. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise the details of your subscription to clearly describe what the user will receive for the price.** I've tried multiple reiterations of how my app offers my two subscription options: Monthly or Annually. The whole app is only available through paid subscriptions. Meaning the user can only see the 'login' screen, 'FAQ' screen, 'create account' screen, and 'choose subscription' screen without a subscription. I'm attaching an image of the 'choose subscription' screen which is the problem of the app review. I've described the features the user will benefit from. Hello everyone, I installed anaconda day before yesterday on my mac but I believe somehow it has overwriiten the homebrew command which I used to install applications for development purpose. Right now even after uninstalling the anaconda application and removing everything related to it, I can still see the conda getting used in terminal. Can anyone please help me out on this, as to how can I remove the conda and bring in homebrew instead? I'm sharing the .zshrc screenshot for your reference.

I've 14-Pro and I recently did update to "iOS 18 beta" using beta channel. However, the first I noticed was a deleted call-history... After several tries (using tips from forums), nothing showed up. Finally, I did reset all and reverted back to "17.5.1" and used the last iCloud backup (right before iOS 18 upgrade). Call history is back, however it is limited to "only 1-month" back in time! Why? I've 2 TB iCloud storage, why my call history is gone why? I keep backup of everything, and call-history contains very important details as well. Please help in getting back my data asap.

Is it possible to implement Persistent History Tracking in an application/framework written in Objective C where Core Data stack has been setup manually in legacy manner? Or does persistent history tracking work only when persistent store was initialised by NSPersistentContainer available from iOS 10 onwards?
