Hello,
We have developed an app iOS and Apple reject the second update of app (categorie NEWS) for this motivation:
We still noticed that your app requires users to
register or log in to access features that are not account-based.
Next Steps
To resolve this issue, please revise your app to let users freely access your app’s non account-based features.
Apps may not require users to enter personal information to function, except when directly relevant to the core functionality of the app or required by law.
You should allow users to freely access your app’s non account-based features.
For example, an e-commerce app should let users browse store offerings and other features that are not account-based before being asked to register, or a restaurant app should allow users to explore the menu before placing an order.
Registration must then only be required for account-specific features, such as saving items for future reference or placing an order.
But I would to like answer to Apple with this motivation:
"The App requires to create an user account to specify the Country Edition of interest to manage delivery of the correct user magazine and Country-specific contents. Moreover we need to recognize email domains provided by the account to deliver further contents reserved to the employees (customer) worldwid"
Thank you of the support.
My app has been rejected due to 4.3 design issue.
"We noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam"

Hi All, Today I have got one mail from Apple as follows
We are writing to inform you that your company is not in compliance with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (PLA).
Section 11.2 (Termination) states:
(g) if You engage, or encourage others to engage, in any misleading, fraudulent, improper, unlawful or dishonest act relating to this Agreement, including, but not limited to, misrepresenting the nature of Your Application (e.g., hiding or trying to hide functionality from Apple’s review, falsifying consumer reviews for Your Application, engaging in payment fraud, etc.).
Be aware that manipulating App Store chart rankings, user reviews or search index may result in the loss of your developer program membership.
Please address this issue promptly.
Here, what steps should I take to resolve the issue?
If anyone has faced this type of issue earlier, please guide me to the solution
Hello
Our app has been rejected from the app store because of 1.4 Physical Harm https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#safety
This app is used by the users from Kenya (Only registered users). Users can log their health based self-assessment data like blood pressure, glucose level, temperature, body weight, BMI with medical hardware devices and that will be shared with specialist (Physician or Clinical) to do the diagnosis and advice subscription accordingly.
Problem:
We have the above features from earlier versions but with the new version update our app got rejected from app store stated that we have violated the app stores' guidelines (1.4.1 Physical Harm - Safety)
Your app connects to external medical hardware to provide medical services. However, to be compliant with App Store Review Guideline 1.4.1, you must:
Provide documentation from the appropriate regulatory organization demonstrating regulatory clearance for the medical hardware used by your app
Provide documentation of a report or peer-reviewed study that demonstrates your app’s use of medical hardware works as described
Our app's features:
AccuCheck-Instant Glucometer: CE0088 This product fulfils the requirements of the European Directive 98/79/EC on in vitro diagnostic medical devices.
b) FORA-DigitalThermometer-IR21b: CE Mark for compliance with European Directive integration over Bluetooth

d) FORA-Weighing Machine-W310b: IEC/EN 61010-1, IEC/EN 61326, EN 301 489-17, EN 300 328 Compliant integration over Bluetooth
e) OmronBPMachine-HEM -9210T: EC & EN Compliance integration over Bluetooth
Please anyone help us to resolve this issue.
Radio App Rejected
5.2.3 Legal: Intellectual Property - Audio/Video Downloading
I have seen that many radio apps have been successfully launched, and their functions are the same. How should I reply?
my Chinese Chess Game be rejected 2 times.
the reason:
We continued to notice that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam.
What I'm more curious about is where is the measurement standard for this sentence?
According to this reply "same feature set as other apps ", should APPLE STORE have only one chess games, and the others are considered spam?
but why there are so many Chess game there?
do they have different features?
based on that reply, I think, I am not a chess player. or I am not playing IOS chess game.
my APP should be the strongest AI already.
have Large End Game Database for play.
have self define board for play With AI.
any suggestion of make different features set?
I submitted my app for review and it is was approved. I received an email saying "Your submission was accepted for release on the App Store" and the App Review page on App Store Connect shows it was approved.
However, under IOS app, it still shows "in Review" with the yellow clock item and of course is not on the App Store. Does anyone know how long it will take to reflect approval, and when it will become available on the App Store?
I have implemented a standard GKLeaderboard in my app. The leaderboard includes the player's avatar, display name, and the score.
I only use functionality provided by GameKit without any custom server functionality. I don't even have an own server.
Still, my app got rejected with the following notice:
We noticed that your app does not obtain the user's consent prior to uploading users' scores to a global leaderboard. To collect personal data with your app, you must make it clear to the user that their personal data will be uploaded to your server.
What should I do here? Do I really have to obtain user's consent before uploading his score to Game Center?
Hi everyone,
after 9 years apple closed my account for violating guidelines.
I'm trying in every way to talk to a manager but I can't do it in any way, I've sent an email, I've sent a request to be reinserted into the Apple program but no one is replying to me.
How can I do it, do you have any suggestions on this.
I have to prove my total innocence of what Apple said but I have no way to talk to the team.
Thanks for your help
Hello!
I submitted my app, and then it got rejected for a metadata problem and a permissions request I forgot to add, I fixed both and re-submitted. A few hours later, I got rejected again for "Other", with this message:
Hello,
Thank you for submitting your app for review.
We need additional time to evaluate your submission and Apple Developer Program account. Your submission status will appear as "Rejected" in App Store Connect while we investigate. However, we do not require a revised binary or additional information from you at this time.
While there may be a delay due to high submission volumes, we are working to complete our review as soon as possible. If we notice any issues that require your attention, we will let you know via App Store Connect. If we find no issues with your submission or account, the submission will be approved.
We will notify you as soon as there is new information to share. Other review inquiries may be filed via the Apple Developer Contact Us page.
Best regards,
App Store Review
When I look it up, all results are over 6 months to a year old, and most of the time people don't reply with what has happened after they got this message.
Any guidance, please?
Thanks!
Hello, I'm almost mad with the AppStore review.
Our application was first published on AppStore(iOS) last month, version 2.2.5 is our first online version. After we noticed some bugs and fixed them, we submitted new version to AppStore, tried to fix the bugs of our application. But the reviewer always give us rejection, the reason is 4.3 - Design, said our application is spam. I can't understand, because our new version is the same with the online version 2.2.5. We just fixed some bugs. The rejection keeps 3 times, can you tell me what I can do to against this unreasonable condition?
And another thing is the MacOS application. The reviewer said our application requires user to right-click the menu bar to quit our application. So we made change and made users can quit the application by clicking the red button on the application window like all other applications. We also uploaded a picture and noted this change in the submission. But the reviewer rejected it again, gave us the same reason. I can feel he must never see our notes and pictures.
These two rejections are very annoying and unreasonable.
Can anyone tell me what can we do to deal with this problem?
I am using an LLM in an app. Got this in the Appstore review:
Your app includes AI-generated content but does not appear to include content filtering at this time. Since your app may produce content not appropriate for all audiences, it would be appropriate to revise your app's age rating to 17+ in App Store Connect or implement content filtering.
There are two ways to resolve this issue:
You may update your Age Ratings selections to 17+ in App Store Connect.
Or you may implement content filtering so that all generated content is appropriate for your app's current age rating.
I want to get the age rating lower than 17. I can see lots of posts about how to do this for user-generated content. But how do I implement AI-generated content filtering?
Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage, app developed on behalf of a client
Hi, I am developing an application for an event that a client of mine is having. I received this comment from Apple:
"Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage : - The app must be published under a seller and company name that is associated with the organization or company providing the services. In this case, your app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the X client name."
After sending the respective documentation that my client authorized me to publish the app I developed to my personal account, because they do not have an organizational account, since my client does not develop applications.
What else do I need to prove that I am not in violation of this compliance.
My application is written for employees in the company to use. I requested to distribute as an unlisted app and it was accepted by Apple. However, when I resubmit the app to the apple store, I always receive this message.
How can i solve my problem. I have published many times but always rejected by apple.
,Thanks all !
I submitted a TSI, I see it in the "Submitted incidents" section of the dev account page, it shows a ref ID, date, and status as "Used".
A few days after submitting the TSI I only got an email of "How was your support experience?" but I never got an actual response to the TSI itself. I searched all emails, spam, and went through the dev site - nothing there.
Questions:
In what way of communications are TSIs responses are sent? Is this supposed to be an email, should it show up in the dev page?
How can I find out if this specific TSI has been already taken care of and for some reasons I didn't get the response, or is it still pending to get handleD?
For context, this TSI is extremely important to us. We got our app rejected, but the reviewer couldn't give any technical details why, just repeat the same review rejection code. When asking for details the reviewer directed us to file a TSI to get more specific pointers on what is triggering the rejection.
Not sure if that is a common practice, seemed a but weird that there is enough information to get rejected but it cannot be shared.
Our 13 engineers spent 197 days developing a live broadcast application, and we were very happy on August 23 because it was completed.
Then came the indifferent bad news.
The first time we submitted the app it was rejected.
We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps previously submitted by a terminated Apple Developer Program account.
Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps.
Next Steps
Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality.
Resources
Some factors that contribute to a spam rejection may include:
Submitting an app with the same source code or assets as other apps already submitted to the App Store
Creating and submitting multiple similar apps using a repackaged app template
Purchasing an app template with problematic code from a third party
Submitting several similar apps across multiple accounts
Learn more about our requirements to prevent spam in App Store Review Guideline 4.3.
We accepted some suggestions, modified some codes, and made a second submission, and then unfortunately, we were told that 4.3 appeared.
I am here to ask for help. Is there any other method that can help me prove that this code was developed by us and was not purchased or used by others. For example, if we apply for a "USPTO", will it be helpful for the review? We have modified it. There is a lot of code, and if we modify it again, there will be many bugs, which we cannot accept.
I'm trying to submit an app for review but not able to select build from listing. There is no message mentioning the reason.
Is it ok to for the app reviewer to clearly enter a wrong provided account email and reject my release? How I should make myself more clear to the app reviewer, had anyone this kind of issue?
My mobile app shows users nutrition plans and food recipes, with detailed macros (protein, carbs, fat, calories). These recipes were created by a nutritionist uniquely for us.
Now the problem - Apple denied our newest version is requesting "citations" for these recipes. They said it is against the App Store Review Guideline 1.4 - Physical Harm, but they will not elaborate what the problem is. How can I provide citations for a boiled chicken recipe?
Has anyone ever a problem like this? The recipes include grocery list and how-to-make instructions. What citation they might need? There are at least hundreds of apps that list recipes like this.
Here's the message they sent:
During our review, we found that your app provides diet recommendations in the nutrition section, therefore it would be appropriate to include citations in the app of the sources for such diet recommendations with functional links to those sources.
