Do I need to pay on app + website?

Hi, I wanted to create an apple developer account. Just starting out iOS development. When I downloaded the Apple Developer app, it prompted me to pay, close to $50/year converted to my home currency.

Now when I login to https://developer.apple.com/ ,I see the prompt that I need to pay $99/year again?

Is this a glitch? Not receiving any response from support, and its been almost 36 hours since my purchase. I know it can take a while to get sorted, but just asking if anyone else faced this issue.

After you purchased for Apple Developer Program, you need to wait for about 2 workdays. Apple Developer Program support will send an email to you to confirm your register and ask for additional info if needed.

Don't pay for it again, just wait for the confirmation email. You won't be granted access to App Store Connect etc before the register was fully finished.

Where did you download Apple developer app ?

Creating an Apple account is free, and you get access to development tools like Xcode.

So what is it exactly you paid $50 for ? Are you sure it was from Apple ? Or was it a third party app ?
