I’ve been using iOS beta 3 for a few days, and I’ve began to notice that I am not able to send messages through CarPlay. At first, I thought it was a bug with my phone, so I restarted it. Then, I removed my car from CarPlay and reconnected, then connected it to a family members car and still have the same issues.

The issue being whenever I try to send a message using Siri, she replies with “There is not an app for that, download one when not in the car.” Or something along those lines. If anyone else is having the same issue, or knows a fix, please let me know.

2025 Honda Civic and I’m having issues with wired CarPlay on 18 beta 3, when I’m playing music at random times the sound will shift to playing out of only the passenger side speakers. Don’t know if I’m the only one having this but if anyone is knows a fix lmk!!

iPhone 15 pro, Skoda Superb(2018) Car play not working after iOS18 update (22A5326f). The battery is only charging. Yesterday on the previous beta it was ok.

No reaction after connecting the phone to the car with a cable, it only charges. Restarting both devices didn't help..

Did u put Face ID or a password on messages if u have anything locked it wont work with car play I’m only having problems with pandora loading have to load from phone and then will work on CarPlay

I've tried just about everything for every developer update buy Bluetooth carplay is not working.

HOWEVER, I screwed around with Wi-Fi connection to my car and Carplay is working. I didn't test much but maps did come up as well as come choppy audio form Instagram. So, connected to my Hondas WiFi, the "Connect" button changes to CarPlay and something is working again!

My issue is that if my screen on my phone is on only the front speakers work. But if I turn my screen on my phone off, all my speakers turn on

Same for me, carplay is totally unstable or not working using usb cable.

Turn off “require face ID” and it will show up again in carplay list
