Hey everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with iOS 18 beta 4 and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same or has a solution.

Problem: FaceID is randomly being triggered and asking me to input the passcode even when:

  • I'm not using my phone at all.
  • I'm actively using my phone, such as watching a movie or using apps.

Steps I've Tried:

  • Resetting the phone
  • Resetting FaceID

Has anyone else faced this issue? Is this a known bug in iOS 18 beta 4? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

If it is any help I'm getting unkown error messages when trying to authenticate using FaceID in Xcode 16 beta 5. I think there must be issues as my code appears to be correct so I think this is at the IOS 18 beta level.
