iOS 14 no signal, no cellular data

Hi!
I've installed iOS beta 4 on my iPhone 11 Pro and since then, I lost the signal and I don't have data. I have another iPhone X with iOS 14, and I don't have issue with it. It only occurs on iPhone 11.

I tried many things like:
  • Reset network setting

  • Turn off/on airplane mode

  • Turn off/on cellular data

  • Hard reboot

  • Soft reboot

  • Reset content and data

  • Turn off/on roaming

...
Same issues
It seems that the cell is looking for the signal constantly.

Do you have any idea how to fix it ?
My iphone 7 always had a great signal until I updated to ios 14.1. I also temporarily lost ALL of my messages history. I did a soft restart and that worked temporarily. I then took out my sim card and use a super fine piece of sandpaper to clean the sim card contacts both on my sim card and inside the iphone by cutting a small piece that would slide into the sim slot. I then did a hard reset and so far my signal has been good.
please @bvn keep us informed as this starts to be pretty frustrating...let's see if this modem update helps...
but we already had from 14.x to 14.2 a modem update (I think) not sure 100% but didnt help

Had same issue today on iPhone 12.

After update no data and couldnt make/receive calls. Do backup and do factory reset(network reset wont help!!)

After downloading backup it should work.

Bare in mind for backup recovery you will need to to use your mobile number and if you have only one device you wont be able to receive message for confirmation, so have one spare device just so you can put your sim card in it so you can get confirmation code on that number. As soon as you put confirmation code in iPhone you can put sim card back.
Data should be recovered and your cellular should work.

Have nice day!
You may try this

Manually select the network. Automatic selection is not working it appears. It worked for me.
@dmans75 that’s exactly how I fixed it. Now it’s fixed completely though. Automatic works for me since some iteration of 14.3
Seems the iOS 14.4 beta 1 with the modem update solved the problem on my iPhone 11 no 4G drops (and I tried and stressed, making calls on bad coverage zone to see the behavour when changes back from 3G to 4G)
let's keep crossed fingers... modem firmware went from 2.03.4 => 2.03.3 (yes..it seems lower instead of higher..) ;)))

I have the same issue, but selecting the carrier manually didnt help... actually nothing help... I tried to unenroll the beta profile and install back the 14.3 but the issue was still there... Im waiting for the new software with much hopes... :/
I have had a problem with no service or only one bar on my iphone 11 from the beginning. But today for the first time, no service all day and no apparent reason. Tried the steps others have listed here. I am on ios 13.6.1 and looking at problems many are experiencing, not sure if I should update to 14.3.
My problem is more that the data drops, I got 4G but cannot access to data.
solution : airplane mode works

Dear All, I had same problem as before, 4G dropped to 3G and got 1 bar then No Service, only way to get service back only is force restart or turn off the phone and put back on or switch to Airplane mode 5 minutes, etc. All happened on iOS 14.1 and 14.2.
After iOS 14.3 came out and followed other people methods with iTunes back up my phone then using DFU mode to restore my iPhone with iOS 14.3 and restore from back up plus manually choosing carrier not on automatic network mode, now my iPhone XS Max seems ok now for a week and half already.
iPhone 11pro max, used for 1 yr and 3 months, problem happens on 12/26.

same problem.
lost signal, no service.
I checked with carrier, no issues, put the SIM card in another phone, the SIM is working.
put other SIM in this 11promax, no service, no signal.

called the apple support.
restart,
reset network settings,
airplane on/off,
restore the phone to factory settings,
restore the phone with PC/iTunes.
same issue.

Contacted with the Apple support tech agent, three different senior tech agents, a support tech manager (that agent said he is the manager, and he is the highest level manager in Apple, the agent hang up my call at the end),they run the diagnostic check on the phone as well.
they cannot found any issues, cannot explain why this issue happened , and said it may because of a hardware issues...

then they provided me the only repair solution for this phone which is to replace the phone with cost of $880+taxes.

still contacting with Apple support team, another manager start working on my case now, we did a conference call with my SIM carrier and now it’s waiting on a tech ticket number from SIM carrier.

fingers crossed...

Same with me..so bad..im using XS MAX

Already do all the tips include reset all data and setting.. still have a same problem.. please do something.. i already installed new ios..after that its slowly out of coverage..first lost 4g,then lost 3g, then lost all the bar..the technician dont have any clue about it..no data and network..cannot use call also.. whyyyyyyyyyy?

Im so frustrated..
I have an iphone 7S and got this bug. I tried updating to ios 14.3 which failed and the phone then had to be reset to factory settings after which ios 14.3 installed and so far everything seems to be back to normal. No idea how I got this bug.
I'm having this same problem on iPhone 7, iOS 14.2 and 14.3. Restarting the phone is the only way to restore cellular network service but it's not a 100% reliable method and restoration is temporary (works for minutes or hours). I've also noticed that during times the phone is attempting to connect to the network there is noticeable battery drain, even on airplane mode. Removing the SIM appears to prevent accelerated drain.

This problem began on iOS 14.2. I attempted an upgrade to 14.3 using WiFi but iOS refused to upgrade because it couldn't verify the download. Assuming this was because I was not connected to the cellular network, I was able to upgrade by connecting to a macbook. Upgrading to 14.3 did not prevent this issue from reoccurring.
Hi thanks for this post. My iPhone 12 lost cellular service on 12/29/20 and I have had the device since November. I couldn’t receive or make calls Then this morning ,one bar appeared.

I have Verizon service and I tried rebooting, toggling the airplane mode button, the carrier settings are up to date, I have iOS 14.3. I researched the issue and tried various cellular settings. I am trying to avoid the reset options because it seems that does not fix the issue after reading so many comments. It appears that Apple has a glitch? Has Apple responded to you?
thanks!
