I noticed that the ChatGPT is listed as an "Extension" in the Apple Intelligence settings on iOS 18.2 beta. Does this mean developers will be able to create their own extensions? Or will this be limited to larger companies to incorporate their own models into Apple Intelligence?
There's no supported way for you to create an intelligence extension with the APIs currently available. If you'd like us to consider adding the necessary functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here.
