APNS Connection Timed out

This error has been continuously occurring for about 9 hours. We have not replaced the certificate, modified the server code, or changed the firewall policy. Some requests succeed, but many are timing out, with several timeouts occurring every minute. We are unable to find the cause. Please help.

There was a DNS server issue that caused intermittent failures. The issue is now resolved.

If the cause of your timeouts was due to the same, that would explain it. If you are still seeing these issues, then we would need to look elsewhere.

First thing to check is that your network resources are not the cause here. Most of the time, timeout issues can be explained by network conditions between your push server and APNs.

If the problem is ongoing, and you are not able to establish a cause, we can take a look to see if the requests are reaching us.
