I was on vacation last week and when I returned, I discovered that a sizable number of records in my iCloud database had been deleted! I am at a complete loss on this could have occurred. I have several questions:
What do you mean by "records" and "iCloud database"? Do you mean files in your iCloud Drive?
I mean records in a database that I created in a CloudKit database.
I have an issue where querying them returns "No records found". I still can query for their record name and it works. Any chance you have the same issue?
YES!!!! It seems that I can retrieve them by record name (.recordID.recordName). Do you know what is causing this? And/or how to fixit? THANKS for that insight!
I should clarify my previous post: I can "Fetch Records" by record name (.recordID.recordName) using the CloudKit Dashboard. However, when I use "Query Records", no records are found.
The solution to this problem, is to drop and rebuild all the "Queryable" indices. Thanks VERY much to KayNon. He/She had the answer!
