move Reality Composer project from iOS to Mac (Xcode)

I created a prototype app with Reality Composer on an iPad. Now I would like to import the project to a Mac for further development using Xcode/Swift. How can I do this?

I am able to export a .reality or .usdz file. If I open the .reality file in Xcode I just get the playback app/scene but it does not appear to be a project that I can edit.

You will want to export it as a USDZ file and then import it into Reality Composer Pro. You can then reference the USDZ in the Reality Composer Pro scene for further editing.

Let me know if that helps,

Michael

the workflow for these apps are poor, I lucky have an iPad Pro and I setup the scene on this and then export as a .Reality File only to run into issues import this into Reality Composer pro, but it's difficult, the Reality Composer and Reality Composer Pro workflow is not efficient and I wish this could be addressed if you are to on-board more people to create 3D content.
